The Weavers Cooperative of Santo Tomás Jalieza sells their products in the town's market square, a 35-minute journey from Oaxaca. This cooperative was established with the aim of fostering collaboration among the town's women. Equitable distribution of orders ensures the maintenance of just pricing, guaranteeing each woman receives appropriate compensation for her time and expertise. These artisans use back strap looms to create gorgeous cotton pieces.
