Leather Circle Purse (Cognac)

A little round. A lot of wow.

Description

This handmade leather circle bag has a way of getting noticed — in the best possible way.

Handcrafted in Morocco from sustainably sourced, vegetable-tanned leather, this roomy round bag is soft, sturdy, and beautifully practical. The natural leather gives it that easy, goes-with-everything warmth, while the sculptural circle shape keeps it feeling special.

Inside, a center zip compartment divides the bag into three sections, making it easy to organize your phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, and all the little things that somehow travel with us. A full zippered closure keeps everything secure, and the padded drop handles are comfortable enough for everyday carrying.

We lined these bags with navy blue and grey fabric for a little extra personality — because even practical bags deserve some moxie.

A longtime Intertwined favorite, this artisan leather circle bag is one of those pieces that feels polished without trying too hard.

Made to age beautifully

Handcrafted Moroccan leather
Will my leather piece look exactly like the photo?

Each leather piece is handmade, and natural leather is never perfectly uniform. Slight variations in color, grain, markings, stitching, or texture are normal and part of what makes the piece feel personal rather than mass-produced.

How does leather change over time?

Leather is made from natural collagen fibers, so it changes as it responds to touch, friction, light, air, and moisture. With use, the surface can absorb small amounts of oil from your hands, while everyday friction gently polishes the areas you touch most. Air and light can also oxidize the leather and its natural oils, slowly deepening the color and creating a richer patina.

Over time, your piece may become softer, smoother, darker, and more uniquely yours. Small creases, marks, and tonal shifts are part of the beauty of natural leather.

Care Instructions

Caring for Your Moroccan Leather

Moroccan leather is beautiful, durable, and made to soften with use. A little care will help it age gracefully and develop that rich, lived-in patina leather lovers appreciate.

Wipe gently
Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust or light surface dirt. Avoid soaking the leather.

Keep away from excess moisture
Leather does not love water. If it gets damp, blot gently with a clean cloth and let it air dry naturally—away from direct heat or sunlight.

Condition occasionally
If the leather begins to feel dry, use a small amount of leather conditioner on a soft cloth. Always test first in an inconspicuous spot.

Expect natural variation
Marks, tonal shifts, wrinkles, and texture changes are part of natural leather’s character. Over time, your piece will soften, deepen in color, and develop its own patina.

About the leather scent
Because this leather is natural and traditionally crafted, it may have a stronger leather scent when it first arrives. That scent is normal and should soften with time, air, and use.

To speed up the process, place your item in a well-ventilated area or hang it outside in the shade for a few hours, avoiding direct sun, rain, or heat. You can also place the item in a large pillowcase, storage bag, or box with an open container or small cloth pouch of baking soda nearby for 24–48 hours. Keep the baking soda from touching the leather directly. Afterward, simply wipe the leather with a soft cloth and enjoy.

With regular use and simple care, your Moroccan leather piece will soften, deepen, and develop a beautiful patina over time.
