Handmade Christmas decor carries the marks of the person and process behind it. Colors, stitching, painted details, and woven patterns may vary slightly, making each piece feel more personal and distinctive than mass-produced holiday decorations.

Huipiles are traditional Maya blouses, while cortes are traditional woven skirts. Intertwined repurposes vintage huipiles and cortes into colorful Christmas trees, ornaments, and tree skirts, giving these beautiful handwoven textiles a new life.

Many of our holiday decorations are made from upcycled vintage textiles or low-impact materials such as papier-mâché. By repurposing existing handwoven fabrics and working with traditional artisan techniques, we create holiday decor designed to be treasured and reused year after year.

Our holiday collection is made with artisan partners in Guatemala and Kashmir, with some pieces finished or assembled by our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. Each product reflects the materials, techniques, and artistic traditions of the people who make it.
