Description

There’s something timeless about a market basket—simple, sturdy, and ready to be filled with whatever the day brings.

Handwoven in Morocco from natural palm fibers and finished with smooth leather handles, these baskets are made to move with you. Take them to the farmers market, fill them with fresh flowers and produce, or carry them as an everyday tote that feels both effortless and elevated.

But their story doesn’t end at the market.

At home, they become part of your space—holding your favorite cotton corte blankets beside a chair, catching the everyday on a busy staircase, or adding warmth and texture to a quiet corner. They’re the kind of piece that works hard without asking for attention… and somehow makes everything around them feel more intentional.

Available in three sizes—small, medium, and large—these baskets are designed to nest beautifully when not in use, while giving you flexibility for whatever you need to carry or store.

Each one is handcrafted, which means slight variations in shape and weave—small reminders of the hands that made it.

Handmade

This product is handmade with Moroccan leather, thought to be some of the best quality leather in the world. The leather is tanned by hand in 1000+ year old tanneries using a process passed down from generation to generation. You can be sure that the top-quality leather our artisans use will last a lifetime and only get better with age!

This product is made with dried, hand-woven palm leaves. We believe the minor imperfections associated with this craft are part of the charm and uniqueness of the item. We do our best to take photos that accurately represent the true colors and nature of the handmade items, but colors vary across monitors, and photos can’t highlight all aspects of a product.

Handmade by Skilled Artisans

Designed for Meaningful Living
What Make Intertwined Products Special?

Intertwined is not simply a shop filled with handmade goods we found along the way (although we do have some of those, too). We design or co-design most of our products in close partnership with skilled artisan makers, combining traditional craft techniques with pieces that feel beautiful, useful, and at home in modern life.

Our artisan partners bring generations of knowledge—handweaving, glassblowing, leatherwork, embroidery, sewing, pottery, and more. We bring design ideas, product direction, and a deep respect for the materials, processes, and people behind each piece.

The result is a collection that feels distinctly Intertwined: handmade, story-rich, thoughtfully designed, and created through relationships—not mass production.

Care Instructions

We recommend dry cleaning your Wool Momo Blanket to preserve its size, texture, and heirloom quality.

These blankets are traditionally finished by soaking in natural volcanic hot springs, which helps bind the wool fibers and gives them their thick, dense, comforting feel. Because wool can continue to felt or shrink with heat, agitation, or sudden temperature changes, we do not recommend machine washing.

For everyday care, shake out gently, spot clean small areas with cool water and mild soap when needed, and air out occasionally. For deeper cleaning, take it to a trusted dry cleaner familiar with wool textiles.
