Will my bag look exactly like the photo?

Yes. Because these bags are made with vintage Moroccan textiles, each one is unique — so we photograph every individual bag before it goes online. The colors, patterns, markings, and beautiful little quirks you see in the photos belong to the exact piece that will be shipped to you.

What's special about Moroccan leather?

Morocco has a long tradition of leatherwork, with techniques passed down through generations of skilled artisans. The leather used in our bags is selected for its durability, natural character, and ability to soften and develop a rich patina over time — making each piece even more beautiful with use.

Care Instructions

Caring for Your Moroccan Leather & Vintage Textile Bag

Moroccan leather is beautiful, durable, and made to soften with use. A little care will help it age gracefully and develop that rich, lived-in patina leather lovers appreciate.

Wipe gently
Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust or light surface dirt. Avoid soaking the leather.

Keep away from excess moisture
Leather does not love water. If it gets damp, blot gently with a clean cloth and let it air dry naturally—away from direct heat or sunlight.

Condition occasionally
If the leather begins to feel dry, use a small amount of leather conditioner on a soft cloth. Always test first in an inconspicuous spot.

Expect natural variation
Marks, tonal shifts, wrinkles, and texture changes are part of natural leather’s character. Over time, your piece will soften, deepen in color, and develop its own patina.

About the leather scent
Because this leather is natural and traditionally crafted, it may have a stronger leather scent when it first arrives. That scent is normal and should soften with time, air, and use.

To speed up the process, place your item in a well-ventilated area or hang it outside in the shade for a few hours, avoiding direct sun, rain, or heat. You can also place the item in a large pillowcase, storage bag, or box with an open container or small cloth pouch of baking soda nearby for 24–48 hours. Keep the baking soda from touching the leather directly. Afterward, simply wipe the leather with a soft cloth and enjoy.

With regular use and simple care, your Moroccan leather piece will soften, deepen, and develop a beautiful patina over time.

The Story Behind the Textile

Many of our Moroccan bags begin with vintage or handwoven textiles — from wool kilims to other traditional fabrics — each bringing its own texture, history, and sense of place.
