The wool in these blankets is processed by hand, and thus, you may find some organic matter in the weave which only enhances their beauty. The wool only gets softer with age.

We recommend dry cleaning your Wool Momo Blanket to preserve its size, texture, and heirloom quality.
These blankets are traditionally finished by soaking in natural volcanic hot springs, which helps bind the wool fibers and gives them their thick, dense, comforting feel. Because wool can continue to felt or shrink with heat, agitation, or sudden temperature changes, we do not recommend machine washing.
For everyday care, shake out gently, spot clean small areas with cool water and mild soap when needed, and air out occasionally. For deeper cleaning, take it to a trusted dry cleaner familiar with wool textiles.
