Bring heritage, handcraft, and indigo beauty to your table with our Reversible Handwoven Indigo Corte Table Runners, sustainably made from vintage Guatemalan corte skirts. Each runner is truly one-of-a-kind—thoughtfully upcycled and sewn by our artisan partners at Ruth & Naomi in Guatemala.

The front side features traditional jaspe fabric (ikat-style weaving passed down through generations in Salcajá, Guatemala). The reverse side is a striped handwoven denim, also made from second-hand cortes. Two looks in one runner—earthy, timeless, and beautifully textural.

Like our best-selling Indigo Corte Napkins, these runners celebrate slow fashion, circular design, and the skilled hands behind every stitch. No two are exactly alike, but every piece carries the same deep indigo tones and handwoven character.

Available in two lengths to fit most tables:
• 16" x 72" — great for everyday dining tables
• 16" x 90" — perfect for longer farmhouse or banquet-style tables

What makes them special

  • Made from reclaimed, handwoven Mayan corte skirts
  • Fully reversible: jaspe front + striped denim back
  • Sewn by artisans earning fair wages in Guatemala
  • Small-batch, sustainable, zero-new-fabric production
  • Each runner is unique in but cohesive in color + pattern

Set the table with a story—one that honors heritage, protects the planet, and supports artisans.

Handmade Vintage

This product is made with handmade, upcycled fabric. We believe the minor imperfections associated with vintage fabric are part of the charm and uniqueness of the item. We do our best to take photos that accurately represent the true colors and worn nature of the handwoven fabric, but colors vary across monitors, and photos can’t highlight all aspects of a product.

More About the Artisan...

RUTH AND NAOMI is a sewing and crafts cooperative in Chichicastenango, Guatemala founded by local tailor and Methodist pastor, Diego Chicoj. The cooperative began as a way to provide a source of income to widows of Guatemala’s Civil War. Now, both men and women sew and weave tableware, pillows, and blankets. They also crochet bags and coasters.
