The Story

The weekender is sustainably made from a second-hand huipil, a traditional blouse worn by indigenous women in Guatemala. Each huipil is one of a kind and handwoven with unique colors and patterns based on the region where it is made. Cuero Malec, a Guatemalan leather shop, recycles these huipiles by transforming them into gorgeous, durable bags.
